Finding the most powerful Strength weapons is no easy task, but it's a walk in the park compared to the discipline required to increase character attributes to a level that makes wielding them possible.

While maximizing the Strength attribute isn't the best choice for players who prefer fast-paced builds based on agility, there are several great options for those who seek to squash their foes mercilessly. The following examples are the seven weapons in Elden Ring with the highest Strength stat requirements.

7 Dragon Greatclaw

Strength Required: 30

While it has the lowest Strength requirement here, the Dragon Greatclaw is still a force to be reckoned with. This weapon scales primarily with Strength and secondarily with Dexterity. It also has the advantage of dealing Lightning damage, which can be very useful against heavily armored enemies, draconic foes, and full-sized dragons.

To get the Dragon Greatclaw colossal weapon in Elden Ring, players will have to defeat the Draconic Tree Sentinel boss near one of the side entrances of Leyndell, Royal Capital. It's not an easy feat, but it's well worth the effort.

The Great Club has been present in Soulsborne games since the early days of Demon's Souls. Throughout the franchise's history, it has been widely used by players with Strength builds, and while it's been better in some games than in others, it's quite formidable in Elden Ring.

This colossal weapon deals a considerable amount of Physical damage and also has a strong Holy effect that's very effective against certain bosses, like Ekzykes, and the Death Rite Bird. Players can obtain the Great Club by defeating the Stonedigger Troll boss in the Old Altus Tunnel.

5 Golem's Halberd

These paired Greatswords can be obtained by giving the Remembrance of the Starscourge to Finger Reader Enia at the Roundtable Hold. They scale primarily with Strength and Dexterity, and secondarily with Intelligence and require 38 Strength to wield.

3 Prelate's Inferno Crozier

Like dogs, Fire Prelates are one of the most annoying enemies in Elden Ring. With their staggering resistance to damage and their horrible habit of jumping around and spitting fireballs from their heads, they're undoubtedly on every Tarnished's blacklist. Luckily, fighting some of these enraging enemies will yield a great reward, the Prelate's Inferno Crozier.

This colossal weapon scales primarily with Strength and secondarily with Dexterity and can be obtained by defeating the Fire Prelate wielding it inside Fort Laiedd near the Seethewater Terminus Site of Grace. Players will need a character with a whopping 45 Strength Stat to wield this weapon.

2 Ruins Greatsword

Strength Required: 50

One of the best Strength-scaling weapons in Elden Ring, the Ruins Greatsword can be obtained by defeating the Misbegotten Warrior and the Crucible Knight at Redmane Castle Plaza, a boss fight that is only accessible after defeating Starscourge Radahn and exhausting Witch-Hunter Jerren's dialogue.
